By that definition, we can say that we – each and every one of us involved with Child Advocates, Inc., in some capacity – are indeed heroes. And in fact, since 1984, we have been building a legacy for the future. We sincerely thank you for your past support and truly appreciate all that you do for this organization.
But to truly ensure that Child Advocates will be able to help every abused and neglected child who may someday desperately need a court appointed advocate – we can’t stop now. For this reason, we ask you to join our staff and volunteers in continuing our legacy for the future by becoming a member of the Heroes Society.
You may feel like there is constantly something going on at Child Advocates that requires your support – and you’re right – we couldn’t serve the children we do without you. But if you only give one time this year, we urge you to make that gift to this annual campaign.
Every cent of the monies raised will go directly to serving these children. Perhaps most importantly, this effort gives each one of us the opportunity to be a part of the legacy.
We plan to serve 1,925 children by year-end – a number we’re extremely proud of. Unfortunately, there will still be more than 2,000 children we cannot serve with our current resources.
Our vision is to provide a court appointed advocate to every abused child in Harris County who needs us. We ask today for your investment in that vision –– and promise in return, our collective legacy for the future.
