What organization couldn't use a Friends group? The Friends of Child Advocates is a vibrant group of volunteers who serve in dual capacity as a fundraising arm and volunteer base for our many special events.
Responsible for producing one of Houston's most notable events
of the holiday social season - the Angels
of Hope Luncheon and Fashion Presentation by Neiman Marcus -
the Friends also put on their volunteer hats for annual events like
the Holiday Party and Childspree, which allows the children served
by Child Advocates to receive new school clothing each Fall.
The Friends host biannual membership socials and encourage the participation of individuals across the Houston community who want to make an impact in the lives of abused children.
