Help us spread the word on Instagram!

Share fundraising bingo to your Instagram story! Share this to your Instagram story now to help with our last Giving Tuesday push for funding! Follow the instructions below or watch this short instructional video that explains everything from start to finish!

Step 1: Download the 3 bingo graphics below to your phone by pressing and holding down on the image, then clicking "Save Image" for it to download to your photos.

Step 2: Open Instagram.
Step 3: Upload the 1st graphic (orange background covered in photos) and add it to your Instagram story.
Step 4: Upload the 2nd graphic (bingo squares) and add it to your Instagram story.
Step 5: Upload the 3rd graphic (orange background with photos, text, & an arrow) but before adding it to your story, add a donation sticker for Child Advocates. To do this, tap the sticker icon in the top right corner, then select the "Donation" sticker. Search for "childadvocates" and be sure to select our page, which has an orange logo. It might ask you to set a fundraising goal; if it does, please use a goal amount of $250 (which is the total amount of the bingo squares). Resize and position the donation sticker as needed so that it's in the right upper corner and the arrow is pointing to it. Now it is ready to add to your story!
Step 6: Now, wait for the donations to come in! You should get a notification from Instagram when someone donates to your fundraiser, which will tell you who donated and how much they donated. The last graphic you uploaded also tells people to message you when they donate, so if for some reason you aren't able to see who donated or how much they donated from Instagram, they will have messaged you too!
Step 7: Once you have gotten a few donations (we recommend 2-5), repost the bingo graphic you initially uploaded and tag the people who have donated over the corresponding "$ amount bingo square." For example, if Joe Smith donates $5, then tag his handle over any of the $5 squares. This is a nice way to thank people while also encouraging those who haven’t donated to do their part and help you mark off all your bingo squares. Please see the image below for a reference of what this will look like to tag people over the bingo squares! You can also add the donation sticker at the bottom right corner for people to easily donate. Once you have tagged people, click the 3 dots in the right corner and select "Save", so that this image is saved to your photos and can be used in your next story. Now, proceed with posting to your Instagram story.
Step 8: Then repeat this process of reposting and tagging people with every 5 donations you get or as much as you would like to help reach your fundraising goal! Upload the saved bingo image from last time so that you don't have to re-tag those people, tag the new people and before posting, again save the bingo image for your next story.
Good luck! Please refer to the instructional video if you are confused or email Margaret with any questions you have!
