HOUSTON-(November
24, 2003)-Through the support of the community,
Child Advocates, Inc. seeks to serve more
than 1,500 children who are victims of life-threatening
child abuse and neglect. Following are a
few opportunities for individuals to help
Child Advocates, Inc. meet their goal of
providing critical advocacy to abused and
neglected children in our community.
SANTA'S
WISH LIST PROGRAM
Child Advocates, Inc.'s annual Santa's Wish
List Program helps to ensure that the abused,
neglected and abandoned children whom they
serve receive at least one gift for the
holiday season. Child Advocates helps children
ranging in age (infants to 17 years old).
Adolescent and teen children are particularly
in need as this age group is often forgotten
during the holiday season. If you are interested
in supporting Child Advocates' Santa's Wish
List Program, please contact: Suzanne at
713-529-1396, ext. 232 or Kathy at ext.
202 or via website at: suzanne.sion@childadvocates.org
or kathy.nevarez@childadvocates.org.
FINANCIAL
SUPPORT NEEDED
The number of children who are in foster
care due to the life-threatening child abuse
is on the rise while financial support continues
to decline. Child Advocates, Inc. depends
on the contributions of individuals to ensure
that they can continue to provide needed
advocacy for more than 1,500 abused children
each year. To make a financial contribution,
call 713-529-1396, ext. 219 or mail your
donation to: Child Advocates, Inc., 2401
