HOUSTON
– The Houston Texans Foundation will
announce the five major non-profit organizations
that they will support over the next three
years, 2005-2007, on Monday, May 9, 11:30
AM at the River Oaks Country Club during
their annual Charity Golf Classic. The five
organizations selected from over sixty groups
that applied will be:
Boys and Girls Country, Child Advocates,
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The
John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical
Science and Rebuilding Together.
The
Houston Texans Foundation pledged a commitment
of $25,000 a year for three years to each
of the groups. They will be listed on the
Texans web-page, presented their check each
year at a home game, allowed to display
their information in the Foundation’s
booth before a home game, and included in
numerous community activities.

who are assisting children to reach their
full potential and achieve success,”
