Houston Texans Foundation Announces Major Support for
Five Non-Profit Organizations for 2005-2007

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans Foundation will announce the five major non-profit organizations that they will support over the next three years, 2005-2007, on Monday, May 9, 11:30 AM at the River Oaks Country Club during their annual Charity Golf Classic. The five organizations selected from over sixty groups that applied will be:
Boys and Girls Country, Child Advocates, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The John P. McGovern Museum of Health and Medical Science and Rebuilding Together.

The Houston Texans Foundation pledged a commitment of $25,000 a year for three years to each of the groups. They will be listed on the Texans web-page, presented their check each year at a home game, allowed to display their information in the Foundation’s booth before a home game, and included in numerous community activities.

“The Texans are very pleased to support these outstanding organizations in our community who are assisting children to reach their full potential and achieve success,” states Joanie Haley, Executive Director of the Houston Texans Foundation.
