JAMES "JAMIE" BLAKE

What is your role within YPC, and how long have you been involved?   I am currently a council member, as is my wife Kelly. We have been involved with YPC since 2005.

How did you become involved in Child Advocates and YPC?   I attended/volunteered at Cameron ChildSpree (back-to-school shopping spree event) several years ago and met one of the Child Advocates employees who talked to us about the organization and how we could get more involved.

What has been your highlight with YPC?  My highlight with YPC and Child Advocates was when I was able to work with my current employer (who at the time was a client) to establish Child Advocates as the beneficiary for their charity golf tournament. Sherlocks on the Green - the British Pub Open now benefits Child Advocates on an annual basis!

What's life like outside of Child Advocates? I am the CFO for Hospitality USA, a diversified management company specializing in the unique entertainment and hospitality industry. I was married to my beautiful wife on the beach in Riviera Maya, Mexico in October of 2009 and I spend most of my free time following sports, going to movies and spending time with our many dogs - both fosters and our own.
