JAMES "JAMIE" BLAKE

What is your role within YPC, and how long have you been involved?   I am currently a council member, heading up the socials committee with my fiancée, Kelly Marcus.  We have been involved with YPC for four years and this is our second time on the YPC Council.

How did you become involved in Child Advocates and YPC?   I attended/volunteered at Cameron ChildSpree (back-to-school shopping spree event) several years ago and met one of the Child Advocates employees who talked to us about the organization and how we could get more involved.

What has been your highlight with YPC?  My highlight with YPC and Child Advocates was when I was able to work with one of my clients to establish Child Advocates as the beneficiary for their annual charity golf tournament.

What's life like outside of Child Advocates?  I am a Vice President for The Private Bank of Bank of Texas.  I am recently engaged and plan to have a beach wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico in October.  I spend most of my free time following sports, going to movies and spending time with our 3 dogs and any foster dogs we have rescued and are preparing for permanent adoption.
