Annual Events
Childspree
Come and help get our kids ready for back-to-school! On August 2, 2025, several Target stores across the greater Houston area will open early in the morning, and we will take hundreds of our children shopping. They will get to pick out back-to-school clothes and receive a backpack full of school supplies.
This event offers multiple ways to help our children:
- Register to shop with a child
Be a personal shopper for one of our children. Shoppers will be assigned to shop with a child at a designated Target store. Background checks must be submitted by June 30 to be eligible to participate. - Make a donation
Donate to our Childspree fund so that we can provide back-to-school items for more of our kids. - Purchase registry items
Please direct any questions to specialprojects@childadvocates.org. Once we have met the needs of our children for back-to-school items, any additional funds will go towards Child Advocates' mission of helping abused and neglected children.
