Ready for Back-to-School: Childspree 2024

This past Saturday, seven Target stores across Houston opened extra early as hundreds of Child Advocates kids lined up to shop for back-to-school clothes. Through our annual Childspree, each child was matched with a personal shopper who helped them pick out brand-new uniforms, clothes, shoes and accessories to start the year strong. For many of the children, it was the first time they ever received something new or had the chance to pick out things to match their own style.

Once all the children had filled their shopping bags, they filled their bellies with breakfast and were given a backpack full of school supplies for the upcoming year. The smiles on their faces made the early morning well worth it!

At one store, three sisters had the opportunity to shop altogether. They were so happy when they received matching purple backpacks that they screamed with excitement!
